Meet Duncan (#956), one of the six senior garage pugs. Duncan and his five pug friends were living in a 3-sided garage with only two space heaters to keep them warm all winter. Luckily KPR was contacted and these six sweeties are all in foster homes getting the love and attention they have missed out on for many years! Duncan is a small dog, weighing under 20 pounds and is approximately 12 years old. He is blind from prolonged untreated dry eye and requires eye drops twice a day, but that does not keep him from exploring and being part of the family. Since Duncan does not have any teeth he eats soft food and treats. Duncan’s foster home reports that he is very sweet and shows no sign of any aggression. He is a quiet, loving dog. Since Duncan and his pals lived in a cage in a garage with only one potty break a day, they are having to re-learn where it’s ok to relieve themselves. Duncan’s foster home says that he is making great progress in
housetraining. Duncan is really enjoying his new-found freedom by slowly checking out his environment. This sweet old soul has been nothing but in good spirits since coming into KPR and is now ready to find a permanent home to spoil him through his golden years.
