BFF's Maeling (Fawn # 564) and Juneifer (Black # 563) are ready to expand their circle of friends and hope that includes YOU!

These two have been best friends since 2002 and must be adopted together. Maeling is the older pug and seems to be the more dominant one watching and keeping track of everything going on around her, including Juneifer. Maeling (fawn) was born on 1/31/02 & Juneifer (black) was born on 6/23/02.

Juneifer is a sweet girl and is the more playful of the two. She loves to get in your lap with her toy and she loves to play. She also takes great pleasure in a bath. She will run into the bathroom when she hears water running and jump up to watch the water run out of the faucet. She gets so excited that she gets all the dogs in the house energized in hopes that they will get to play with her when this happens. This pug is full of personality! You should hear the funny noises she makes when she has an itch and is trying to get at it. Speaking of noises, Juneifer is also a snorer and her foster mom says the pug snores as loud as her husband! This funny pug will curl up in your lap and sleep or she will sit at your feet and wait to be invited up. As soon as she finds her spot the snoring begins.

Maeling loves to be in your lap as much as possible and will get up on the couch and get close to your face to look at you…and usually has a pug sneeze to go along with it. Once you tell her it is okay, she will climb up and stay up in your lap until you make her get back down. She is a very gentle girl with people, but a little more bossy with other dogs. She doesn’t like other dogs around when she is eating and will let them know it. She also doesn’t like to share lap time and affection so she will not tolerate other dogs invading her space. Her fosters are working on this behavior and their vet recommended that Maeling be crated when she gets out of hand.

Maeling weighs about 19.5 pounds and is in perfect health and up to date on all shots and preventatives. She is a very sweet girl and her fosters are seeing improvements in her behavior towards the other dogs. Juneifer weighs 27 pounds and is also up to date on all shots and preventatives, but is being treated for ear infections and skin allergies thought to be related to food so her fosters have put her on a prescription diet. They have noticed improvements since getting the special food from the vet.

They are both potty trained. Juneifer goes out and comes right back in. Maeling will come back to the door and let you know she is ready to come back in after doing “her business”. They are kept in a crate at night because if not they bark at the cars going down the road all night long. During the day they are given free rein of the house and do just fine.

Both pugs are affectionate and both pugs love to give kisses. Are you ready for two new loyal best friends that will always listen to you and support you?
