Bugsy (# 500) will soon be 11 and his birthday wish is that he’ll finally get a family. He’s a laid back fellow whose idea of a perfect afternoon is to sit at the front door and watch cars going up and down the street. He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and anything else. He has a healthy appetite and probably needs to lose a few pounds, but he still doesn’t like to share his food nor his treats. This big guy loves food so much that his foster home discovered their garden was being eaten up last summer…it wasn’t long before they found out that Bugs was the culprit. Apparently he likes fresh veggies as much as they do.

There have been occasional marking issues if something new is placed in the home like a box that wasn’t there before or a pile of dirty clothes on the floor that aren’t usually there. This good boy is crate trained and enjoys napping when not being a nosy neighbor and looking out the door. He snores rather loudly and his hearing isn’t as good as it used to be. Bugs doesn’t mind getting his nails done and baths are not an issue either. And like his bonded mate, Ez, he loves to go “bye bye”.

Ezzy (# 501) is 9 years old and she gets along with everyone and everything, except cats. She likes to chase them. She also likes to bark at the alarm clock, squeaky door, timer, etc...when she isn’t sleeping that is. She is crate trained and housebroken. When pottying outside she hikes her leg just like Bugs. She has arthritis, a pinched nerve in her back, and an enlarged heart, which simply means you’ll need to give her medication twice a day. She is also laid back about a nail trim and bath. She loves a car ride so much that she barks excitedly and needs to be crated or put in a seatbelt and goes crazy when she reaches her destination. She isn’t a lap dog, but does enjoy sitting beside you. Sometimes she will lie in the floor if her arthritis is acting up and she does walk with a limp.

We understand from their foster family that this is a great pair of pugs and anyone would be lucky to have them as part of their family.
