Bishop (#1015) is a 6
year old black male pug who wound up being a guest of an
animal control facility. Now in foster care, Bishop
could only be described as one very happy dog. He loves
people and his idea of a great time is to be near a
people - under his or her chair, next to his or her
feet, on his or her lap. Bishop doesn’t hide his
happiness; he wears it on his face and tail for all to
see. Bishop has what could only be described as a smile
when he’s sitting at your feet looking up into your face
- a kind of right sided toothy grim that brings a smile
to anyone lucky enough to see it. When he’s completely
relaxed, his tongue hangs out the front of his mouth,
not the whole thing, just the tip, another sign of his
good mood.
Bishop is completely house trained and happy to go
outside and take care of everything that needs to be
taken care of outdoors. He does have one medical issue,
a thyroid condition that cause some small spot of fur to
fall out and that exposed skin to become leatherlike.
But, the medical condition is easily controlled with an
inexpensive once a day tablet. Bishop happily lines up
each morning to take his medicine in a spoonful of
peanut butter.
Bishop gets along well with everyone, other dogs, cats,
kids and adults and is vocal pup. Every now and again,
he is struck by a mood to either be just silly, or
overly playful, and will start talking to himself and
anyone one else who happens to be nearby with a sort of
Bishop yodel while he does sort of front flip back rolls
as he sings and wiggles and entertains himself. He’s a
funny dog.
Bishop is one very good, very happy, very easy going pug
who will make someone a very happy buddy.
